BABY & ME

We recognize postpartum can be a challenging time — mentally, physically, socially and emotionally. Studio VERSŌ supports new parents by providing a welcoming space for you to bring your baby with you while you exercise.

Studio VERSŌ offers three Baby + Me class types to choose from: Spin, Train, Row + Train, and Flow. Our knowledgeable instructors formulated these classes specifically with you in mind. Baby + Me are more than fitness classes – they are a great opportunity to connect with other parents, socialize, relieve stress, and improve your overall well-being. 

We encourage you to arrive early, settle into the space, and chat with other parents. After class, we welcome you to stay around for coffee in the lobby, or take a cup to go. 

Please note: Babies must be non-mobile and kept in a carrier for the duration of class.

  • Baby + Me Spin is a Metric class based on intensity targets and intentional intervals guide the pedal stroke pace and pressure.

    It is a low-impact, interval-based form of cardio that can allow your postpartum body to improve pelvic floor muscle activation and find optimal breathing patterns while increasing your aerobic capacity.

    Baby + Me Spin class utilizies stationary bikes, an exercise band to rock your baby during class, and occasionally 3lb dumbbells.

  • A strength training class designed specifically with postpartum bodies in mind. Baby + Me Train classes focus on recovering pelvic floor muscle activation and function, increasing strength throughout the core muscles, and building baseline strength with simple, yet functional movements.

    Recognizing that all postpartum experiences and bodies are different, you are encouraged to progress at a safe rate. All movements are instructed with modifications so you can find what feels best for you and your body.

    Expect a warm-up focused on spinal awareness and breath work, about three main sets emphasizing posture, pelvic alignment, foundational strength, and a core finisher.

    Baby + Me Train classes utilize body weight, kettlebells, dumbbells and resistance bands.

  • Get the benefits of Train with an additional cardio challenge! Rowing is a low-impact form of cardio that can allow your postpartum body to improve pelvic floor muscle activation and find optimal breathing patterns while increasing your aerobic capacity. This class will be divided in half; one half focuses on rowing, and one half focuses on strength training. The strength training piece concentrates on core exercises and functional movements that emphasize posture, pelvic alignment and foundational strength.

    Recognizing that everyone's postpartum experience and bodies are different, you are encouraged to progress at a safe rate. All movements are instructed with modifications so you can find what feels best and rest when needed.

    Baby + Me Row + Train classes utilize rowers (ergs), body weight, kettlebells, dumbbells and resistance bands.

  • Baby + Me Flow is a gentle practice designed to move through flows and build strength, balance, and flexibility. Expect low-intensity stretches that build strength in areas that can often be tight post-partum such as the lower back, pelvic floor, and core. Postures are grounded in connection through breath.

    Baby + Me Flow classes utilize Yoga mats and Yoga blocks.
