We’re Hiring: Senior Pilates Instructor & Studio Operations Lead
At Studio VERSŌ, we believe movement should feel supportive, empowering, and accessible. As we continue to grow, we are looking to bring on a highly experienced professional to support both the evolution of our Reformer Pilates program and the day-to-day operations of the studio.
This is a full-time role that blends advanced Reformer Pilates instruction with leadership and operational support.
About the Role
This role is designed for someone with extensive experience in Reformer-based Pilates instruction who is also ready to take on a broader role within a growing studio environment.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Reformer Pilates group classes and private sessions, while also contributing to program development, instructor mentorship, and studio operations. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical depth and leadership capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reformer Pilates Instruction & Program Development
Lead Reformer Pilates group classes and one-on-one private sessions
Deliver clear, technique-driven instruction grounded in Reformer methodology and progression
Design and refine Reformer-based programming across varying levels and abilities
Provide hands-on cueing, corrections, and equipment-based coaching
Mentor and support instructors within the Pilates program, particularly in Reformer instruction
Ensure safe, inclusive, and accessible use of Reformer equipment
Studio Operations & Leadership
Support daily studio operations and scheduling
Contribute to internal systems, organization, and overall studio flow
Assist with instructor onboarding and ongoing development
Collaborate with leadership on program growth and member experience
Help uphold the standards and culture of Studio VERSŌ
What We’re Looking For
Extensive experience teaching Pilates in both group and private settings, with a strong emphasis on Reformer Pilates (10+ years required, 16+ years preferred)
Comprehensive Reformer Pilates certification (Levels 1, 2, and 3 required)
Demonstrated ability to teach progressive, equipment-based Pilates programming safely and effectively
Background in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field
Experience supporting program development, mentorship, or leadership within a studio setting
Additional training in business or management (e.g., Global Business Management) is a strong asset
Strong understanding of anatomy, movement mechanics, and injury prevention in an equipment-based environment
Confident communicator with strong organizational and leadership skills

Full-Time (35–40 hours/week)
Based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
Schedule will include mornings, evenings, and weekends
